Client Challenge: A Unique Logistical Obstacle

A client needed to transport a 26,000 kg yacht from a defunct shipyard in Rayong, Thailand. However, the location had no feasible road access, making traditional transportation impossible.

Our Solution: Innovative Multimodal Transport

• Stability Preparation: Steel platforms were placed on the sand so the crane could lift the yacht safely.
• Tide-Dependent Barge Deployment: A barge was brought in at high tide and beached as the tide went out.
• Refloating & Ocean Transport: Once the yacht was secured, the barge was refloated and transported to Laem Chabang.

The Outcome: Safe & Cost-Effective Execution

We completed the operation efficiently by leveraging our expertise in breakbulk and out-of-gauge logistics. Despite the complex challenges, the yacht was transported without damage.
